Service — Private AI

AI that never
leaves your business.

There is usually a line in a business past which nobody is comfortable using AI. Client files. Patient records. Contracts. The numbers. The problem is that ordinary AI tools send whatever you give them to the big AI companies. We set up AI that runs somewhere only your business can reach — never trained on, always under your control — so that line disappears.

What This Solves

01

Your Confidential Work

The AI runs somewhere only your business can reach — in your building, in your own cloud account, or in a private setup we run for you. No outside AI company sees your files, stores them, or learns from them.

02

Rules You Have To Follow

If your industry restricts where information can go — health, legal, financial, government — this is usually the only way to use AI on the work that matters most.

03

Answers From Your Own Files

Ask a question and get an answer drawn from your own contracts, records and documents, with a link to the page it came from so anyone can check it.

04

AI That Knows Your Business

We can train the AI on your own material, so it understands your terminology, your document formats and what you consider a good answer.

05

Costs That Stop Climbing

Ordinary AI tools charge for every use, so the bill grows as your team relies on them more. Running it yourself is a fixed cost that does not.

06

Something You Can Show Auditors

Records of who used it and what it did, in a form your compliance people can inspect. Built in from the start, because it is always asked for eventually.

How We Work

1. We find out what actually needs protecting

Not everything does. Most businesses assume all of it is sensitive, and end up paying to protect work that was never confidential. Separating the two is what keeps this affordable.

2. We test the AI on your real work

We try the options on your actual documents and score them on whether the answers are right. How a system performs on published tests is close to meaningless; how it performs on your work is the only thing that matters.

3. We tell you what it will cost to run

The computer it needs, what that costs, and an honest comparison against what you are paying now. Sometimes the comparison says do not do this. We will tell you when it does.

4. We set it up and connect it

Installed, connected to the tools your team already uses, with access controls and records in place from day one rather than added later when someone asks.

5. We hand it over

Instructions, a way to check it is still working properly months later, and training for your team. You should end up owning this, not renting us.

Is This You?

This is worth doing if there is work you have held back from AI because the information is too sensitive to send out, or if you are already using AI heavily enough that the monthly bill has become noticeable.

It is not worth doing if you use AI occasionally, nothing you handle is particularly confidential, and the cost is not bothering you. In that case an ordinary AI subscription is cheaper and works better. The audit is where we find out which of these you are, before you have spent anything.

Questions We Are Asked

What does private AI actually mean?

The AI runs on a computer you control — one in your building, or a private space rented in your name — instead of on another company's computers. Anything you give it is handled there and never sent anywhere else.

Is it as good as ChatGPT or Claude?

For most business work, yes. Reading documents, pulling out information, sorting, summarising and drafting are all handled well. The big commercial tools are still ahead on the hardest reasoning problems, which is why many businesses use both: private for confidential work, ordinary tools for everything else.

What does it cost?

You buy or rent a computer once instead of paying per use. A single machine is usually enough for a department. It gets cheaper than a subscription as your team uses it more, and stays more expensive if they barely use it.

How long before we can use it?

Around six to ten weeks for a first working system covering one area of your business. Longer if hardware has to be ordered, or if it has to pass a formal security review first.

When is this the wrong choice?

When you barely use AI, when none of your work is confidential, or when you need the absolute best reasoning available. In those cases an ordinary subscription is the better answer and we will say so.
